Enjoy the same great time as a traditional balloon
ride, but have the balloon to yourselves. On your Private
Charter flight, it will be just the two of you and the
pilot in the basket for a more personal experience.
What a way to celebrate that special occasion such as
a birthday, anniversary or even “popping the big
question”.
Scheduling a Flight
To schedule your hot air balloon ride, please call us at 860-209-0351 to check on available dates. We’ll get some basic information from you to complete a reservation form, you’ll pay your deposit below, and then it’s up to Mother Nature to grace us with good weather.
PAYMENT & TERMS
A $50.00 per person deposit is required to confirm your flight date and the balance is due on the launch field. The balance due is payable on the launch site, PRIOR to the flight.
Balances paid with CASH will receive a 10% price reduction.

Refund/Cancellation policy:
Failure to show up at your scheduled flight time or cancellations less than five [5] days prior to your flight will cause a forfeit of all payments made, the Gift Certificate, or the Pre-Paid Boarding Pass. If CT Ballooning cancels your flight for any reason and you choose not to reschedule your flight, we will refund your payment minus a $20.00 per person administrative fee.
Important Information:
*You will be required to sign an Acknowledgement of Risk Form prior to the flight as required by our insurance company.
*Children are welcome but must be able to follow instructions and be at least 48” tall.
*You MUST be able to climb into & out of the basket unassisted. Basket sidewall is 44” tall with a single foot hole
*You MUST be able to stand unassisted for up to 3 hours.
*Medical issues such as recent surgeries, back conditions, pregnancies, etc… must be disclosed at the time of scheduling.
* Unless you schedule a Private Charter flight, we fly our hot air balloons with up to 5 passengers plus the pilot onboard.
* If you are a party of 1 and we are unable to schedule additional clients, you may be rescheduled.
*Groups of 5 or more will be accommodated in multiple balloons.
* Your pilot reserves the right to cancel or shorten the flight due to weather, flight conditions, or for any safety issue made in the pilots professional judgment. All decisions made by the pilot-in-command put safety first and are FINAL.
Pre-Paid Boarding Passes
Pre-Paid Boarding Passes are paid-in-full at the time of purchase. 
Boarding Passes are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase and are transferable at no additional cost. They are refundable only to the original purchaser within 30 days of purchase, minus a $50 administrative fee. At the discretion of CT Ballooning, expired boarding passes may be applied to flights if the difference between the purchase price and the current rate is paid.

**Boarding passes are mailed to the purchaser within 24 hours of the payment clearing.
